It is hard for me to switch between things, like Marketing and Product Development. They require two different parts of my brain and it takes me some time to "activate" each. It literally is a struggle to move from one to another and I get this stare at my computer screen (sometimes for days at a time)... It is like the folks around here look at me like I am nuts, but I can assure you, it is just neurons - reconnecting parts of my helmet that have not been used in awhile.
We are working here and we are really cranking up the marketing, I have learned so much in such a short time, so has the team. So much that, I get to get out of their way and let them kick it! What does that mean? Well, that means I get to really do what I love and that is Product Development. I jumped in and "activated" my Product Development portion of my cranium and THIS is what came out... A Woofer (along with the "psycho" stare!) . It is getting ready and it is going to ROCK! You can get the scale of it, next to a production Site:1 in my right hand.
We are taking this over to the "wood guy" today and get it all glued and assembled and we will get it sprayed and populated, next week. I then will jump head first into tuning this bad boy's DSP and we will be taking pre-orders in the next few weeks and playing them at our first annual investor meeting on the 17th of November.
After it is introduced, we will finish up the firmware and test our wireless, portable 2.1. There are a few "surprises" too and I cannot wait to get them out of my head and into our 3rd patent application.
Can you imagine two of these paired together? I can't wait to hear these Black Walnut beauties. Another Design Award, maybe? Bring on the THUNDER! Coming Spring 2017....
I hope you love them as much as I do and we will keep everyone posted as to progress. (and yes, we are cranking away on the hundreds of Site:1 orders to get them out of here)
I would say I am "in my element."
I want to personally thank all of my investors, backers and customers. For allowing an outlet for all the CRAZY ideas I have. I am super excited to know that, our first in the series Site:1, is such a "rocking" success and that it is leading to the next products from Princeton Audio!
Truly "Livin' the Dream".
