So, this speaker (No. 708) shows up this morning in a box, carefully packed. I mean, these days, you open something like this with a stick, a LONG stick. There is a manila envelope in the top, now it is downright scary.

Koa vs Koa

Each one of our tonewoods resonate differently. I have been working with these tonewoods for years and spent considerable time attempting to understand what makes a speaker made of a particular wood, sound different. We don’t use MDF (well, technically we do, as our waste piece for our CNC. It is made from MDF) out.

Chasing Ghosts
